This site is devoted to educational software, which is available in any GNU/Linux Distributions. This programs is distributed under the GNU General Public License - that is they are free and open source. These programs can be used freely on unlimited quantity of computers and can be copied and distributed to all interested person (to all comers). Most of such software is also free. (In the majority such software is as well free).

The use of developing software will be considered by the example of the Ubuntu distribution as the most user-friendly and easy for novice users.
